We love Boise.

Help us make it even better.

Boise Brigade is an inclusive coalition of civic-minded volunteers that builds, researches, and designs technology to help foster community engagement and improve quality of life for residents of the Treasure Valley.

About Boise Brigade

Our goal is to be an effective technology partner to communities in the Treasure Valley. We value collaboration, transparency, and a bias for action. We build relationships with government stakeholders and community organizations to be a catalyst and collaborator. Our long-term objective is to become a reliable resource, ready and willing to improve and implement the programs and tools that advance our cities.

Our Projects

Refugee Aid

Ida-Aid, our refugee assistance application, is a native iOS and Android app designed to provide refugees living in the Treasure Valley with information on helpful local resources in a clear and actionable format – including for folks for whom English is a secondary language. This project team is looking for mobile developers and researchers.

Criminal Justice

Our Criminal Justice team is researching a number of projects this year, including apps that organize resources for recently released inmates, connect probation officers with their clients in an effort to decrease recidivism, and notify punitive ticket recipients of court dates and deadlines to minimize negative impacts. All projects could use web developers, designers and researches.
